The Sudbury branch of Bee-Clean is looking for a North Bay & Greater Sudbury Area Manager to join our team.

Position Title: Area Manager North Bay & Greater Sudbury

Reporting to: Regional Manager NE Ontario

Job Summary:

This is a highly trustworthy position responsible for ensuring that contractual requirements outlined in the Scope of Work are met and that customer expectations are exceeded. Key responsibilities include acting as a liaison between clients and the regional office, receiving work order requests, and ensuring their timely completion.

Additional duties involve overseeing the day-to-day operations of various sites. These tasks include ordering supplies within budget constraints, submitting timesheets to the payroll department, and providing billing details to Accounts Receivable. The role also involves meeting with clients regularly, conducting quality assurance inspections, addressing health and safety issues, managing disciplinary actions, and handling workplace incidents.

The position requires attending monthly health and safety meetings and conducting health and safety training sessions for employees each month.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
  • On call once per month

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct electronic quality assurance inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and established standards
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers performing janitorial services
  • Assign janitorial tasks to employees based on material and work requirements
  • Recommend personnel actions, such as hiring and terminations, to ensure adequate staffing
  • Collaborate with staff to address production and personnel issues
  • Complete and approve timesheets, then submit them to the payroll department
  • Order supplies within the allotted budget
  • Ensure extra services and supplies are billed to clients in coordination with the accounts receivable department
  • Hire and train new employees
  • Conduct monthly health and safety training sessions
  • Maintain the organization’s integrity by keeping information confidential
  • Perform various other duties as assigned
  • Successfully pass required federal background checks
