Bee-Clean Building Maintenance is Canada’s largest Canadian-owned janitorial company, providing service to clients on a national and local level. The Sudbury branch of Bee-Clean is looking for a Timmins Area Manager to join our team.

Position Title: Area Manager Timmins & Other areas

Reporting to: Regional Manager NE Ontario

Job Summary:

This is a highly trustworthy position, responsible for ensuring contractual requirements are met in the Scope of Work and customer’s expectations. The tasks associated with this position include acting as a liaison between Clients and the regional office, receiving work order requests and ensuring that they are completed.

This position also includes overseeing the day-to-day operations of various sites. Duties include ordering supplies while respecting budgets, providing timesheets to the payroll dept., and providing billing details to Accounts Receivable. Meets with clients regularly, and conducts regular quality assurance inspections, health and safety, disciplinary action and workplace incidents.

  • Attends monthly health and safety meetings and conducts health and safety training with employees every month.
  • Company vehicle, and business equipment (laptop, cellphone, others) would be provided.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • On call once per month

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts electronic quality assurance inspections to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards.
  • Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in janitorial services.
  • Assigns janitorial work to employees, following material and work requirements.
  • Recommends personnel actions, such as hires and discharges, to ensure proper staffing.
  • Confers with staff to resolve production and personnel problems
  • Completes, and approves time sheets and provides them to the payroll department.
  • Orders supplies according to the allotted budget.
  • Ensures that extra services and supplies are billed back to clients in collaboration with the accounts receivable department.
  • Hires and trains new employees.
  • Conducts monthly health and safety training.
  • Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential
  • Various other duties as assigned.
  • Must pass required Federal background checks.

  • Leadership experience
  • Supervising experience
