Winnipeg partnership aims to boost stability, growth and opportunities for staff and clients
Bornhorst Mechanical Inc. has been acquired by Bee-Clean Building Maintenance in a move the Winnipeg-based companies say will strengthen their operations, provide long-term stability and create new opportunities for staff, clients and industry partners.
“This decision was made with careful consideration and a strong focus on what’s best for the future of our business and the people who make it run,” said James Kopec, general manager of Bornhorst Mechanical.
Bee-Clean, a commercial cleaning company known nationally as Canada’s Cleaner, has more than 15,000 team members and 27 branches across the country. Its Central and Eastern Canada headquarters are located in Winnipeg.
“With its head office right here in the city, Bee-Clean shares our strong local roots,” Kopec said. “This partnership is a natural fit. Our work in mechanical contracting continues as always, now with the added support of a like-minded organization. Bee-Clean brings a shared commitment to integrity, professionalism, and making a positive impact in the communities we serve.”
Bornhorst’s name, location, business model and team will remain unchanged, and there will be no changes to day-to-day operations.
For Bee-Clean, this acquisition is a boon to its current and future clients, with expanded offerings to complement their clients’ needs.
“This acquisition will help maintain high standards, for both Bee-Clean and Bornhorst, while opening the door to future opportunities,” said Joe Correia, President and CEO of Bee-Clean.
