Commitment to Meaningful Consultation
Bee-Clean’s Indigenous Relations team ensures that every partnership is built on meaningful consultation, respecting the specific needs and goals of our future partner. This ensures that branding, values, governance, and leadership of our partner companies align with our commitment to long-term, mutually sustainable benefits.
Our relationship-building process with Indigenous communities is characterized by a proactive and inclusive approach. We initiate consultations with Indigenous groups to facilitate mutual economic development, seeking early and meaningful engagement.
This will help define the parties’ combined roles in any project that may occur on lands
traditionally used by Indigenous Peoples.
Recognizing the unique attributes and needs of each Indigenous community, we tailor our engagement process to ensure that it is culturally sensitive and responsive to the community’s specific requirements.
Reconciliation in Action
As we pursue these partnerships, Bee-Clean actively upholds principles such as the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) and supports reconciliation through relationship-building, in line with the Truth and Reconciliation Committee’s Call to Action #92.
